Their artistic journey is a reflection of their rich familial heritage. Their mother, a talented singer, was a choir member who traveled professionally, sharing her voice with the world. Beyond her vocal talents, she is also an accomplished guitar player, who writes and records her own music, infusing her life with a love for creative expression. Their father, a Navy veteran, played the trumpet and was a head Chef during his service and later transitioned into a career as a professional Chef after being honorably discharged. But his creativity wasn’t confined to music and food; he also crafted super cool and trippy wooden structures and built aquariums, turning their home into a haven of artistic innovation.

Growing up in this vibrant, creative household, Empte & Woem were surrounded by inspiration. Their father’s love for building and their mother’s musical prowess fostered their own artistic inclinations, leading them to explore a wide range of creative mediums. From a young age, they dabbled in carpentry and crafting, skills that would later influence their approach to music production. Their father’s intricate wooden structures and aquariums were a constant source of fascination, sparking their imaginations and nurturing their love for hands-on creation. In 2022, the duo took on a bold challenge, releasing a new song every day for an entire year. This ambitious project resulted in 365 tracks, each one a testament to their relentless creativity and dedication. Their prolific output didn’t slow down in 2023, as they continued to release new music every Friday, keeping their audience engaged with fresh content.
